2005 S-type sport drive cycle?
I have an 05 s-type sport and had my check engine light come on. Took it to the shop and had to have new spark plugs and ignition coils installed. After service I drove it for 200 miles and then took it for emissions testing. I have two monitors "not ready", O2 sensors and EGR sys, so I failed the test. Testing dude told me to drive it some more, so I put another 100 miles on it and took it back. Same results, and was again told to drive it some more.
In searching the forum I read that there are drive cycles for specific years/models of cars, but couldn't find one for the 2005 s-type. Does anyone have that information?

There is but be aware that several people have had a hard time getting all the monitors in the ready state.
Your best bet is just to keep driving and hopefully varying the kind of driving.
The JTIS has the drive cycle information. It is free on this site or you can get a $10 disc from EBay. You really should have the JTIS anyway as it will save you a ton of money!

What codes were there before the "repairs"?
The drive cycle is probably as per the 2003+ cars and is in the codes PDF (FAQs or JTIS).
You may need to look at fuel trims and sensors (you'll need an OBD tool with live data) to try to diagnose the problem but really the codes should not have been cleared unless the appropriate items were fixed based on the codes that were there.

Thank you everyone. My car passed today on the third try. The two monitors became ready somewhere between 300 and 430 miles after my repairs were done. I had my husband drive my car, figuring that his drives differently than me and might trigger the monitors. He told me he took it up to 90 on the toll road, so maybe that's what did it.
