We get rust, too - lots and lots

This is something Jaguar will be very familiar with so I don't think rust is a cause.

No, gave it up. Turned out I was expected to read all the new posts in - and moderate - all the forums I never even visit. Yep, the entire site, all the time. Not my interest. Rather a shock.

Here's a comparison between the new and old:

Now this is my first jag but I've never owned a car that had studs this horrible looking. I'm sure the previous owner is at fault because he had a tire shop put on the rear tires but that's a common cause. The front wheels, as he claimed, had never been off and that was the first one that broke. Then 2 more on each of the back wheels. So, by your suggestion, the factory is overtightening the lugs as well....?

I know you defend jag and it's parts quite often on other posts but, in my situation, the parts failed because they are junk when compared to my other cars, IMO.

I see surface rust. Just about every bolt on my car is the same or worse and has been on every car I've owned (lost count). This is my first jag and it's no different.

Where was the car / what kind of weather? I see Orlando, and I've been in the summer but have no idea about winter - get snow/ice? Roads salted? (That's here btw.)

How old were they when they broke?
