Flushing my ATF and my local shop called Jag Canada for the tranny pan & attached gasket/filter. They wanted "body parts" (some of mine - not the Jaq's ) for the piece. I've searched & read on the forum and know that you do NOT have to have the ZF Fluid (also very pricey) but can use Mercon Sp.
Not as many places here as in US for Jaq parts. Anyone have a place they have used that I can source the tranny pan from?

I bought some in the US, Bavarian Autosport, www.bavauto.com and also from D&R Auto Parts in New York. You should also change the electrical connector sleeve--it will leak. I always used genuine ZF parts

 

As the same gearbox was used on bmw's you can look to see if you can get the parts from that source as well.

 

Don't know specifically of any place in Canada for the pan and sleeve, but I guess you know that all Ford dealers carry the Mercon SP fluid.
