Default 400whp+ nitrous str tune

I have a list of mods im going to do to my str for spring. I already have some of the mods done and some not installed yet do to the weather. But do i need a tune, I don't think i would, but i rather be safe than sorry.

mina 1.5lb pulley
magnaflow exhaust with x-pipe deciding if i need highflow cats or not.
intake pipe
75shot wet nitrous

I think this should easily be a 400whp+ setup that could possibly dip into the 11's. I'm a novice to these cars.

amgeater, speaking for most of us...we love your vigor in getting the STR solidly into the 12's and 11's. Hi-flow cats will definitely let her breath albeit with more noise. But what do you care? Clubairth revived talk on a LSD based on success for the Lincoln LS forum. I shot a PM to Avos for info. on the rear carrier. Looking forward to your mods.

Shouldn't need a tune for mostly bolt-on mods, and wet shot should take care of itself.

My only concern would be the vehicles traction control or similar system kicking in at the wrong time (while nitrous is spraying) and causing a backfire.

yea I would only spray with tc off mainly at the track. I've built numerous 11sec cars but this is my first european car. And imo a 75 shot is fairly low and sure this shouldn't be a issue for the car to handle.

I've also read that a 75 or 100 hp shot is ok, that the actual hp produced is less for each shot.

Just for reference, I did find this setup for a hidden direct-port nitrous setup mounted under the blower on an XKR. I kinda like it...lol!

Wow! It looks both cool and complicated.
