Is 96000 miles a problem on an STR

Ding Ding Ding. You are correct. I'm kind of upset about it. He has all kinds of stories in that ad. Someone else emailed me when he first put it up about 4 days after he picked it up. He had it up for 20 at that time. The car only booked for 16 is excellent condition. I put it up for 13500 because of a few small issues. The guys first email he tried to lowball me to 10. I said hell no and we finally settled on 12250 without the intake. I was trying to at least get 12500 so I had enough to get a truck with cash. The car does not have built in radar unless he installed it, doesnt have tire pressure sensors unless he installed them. It did need new back tires so he may of had that done to justify the new tires. The fronts were brand new. I had them put on at Thanksgiving but had rarely drove the car so they barely had any miles on them. There were a few little minor cosmetic things wrong but mechanical wise the car was perfect when I had it up. With a good detail I could hide the cosmetic things where you couldn't even notice them.

Oi well at least you got your truck. I will not go after it as I can't believe a word this guy says, owed it two years all the mods done by a jag dealer, high miles because of driving to Seattle. So don't know what he has done to it since having it, was confident that you lookedvaftervthe car when you owned it but don't know what this guy has done since he had it. Will keep looking.

When you buy your STR make sure the title is in the same name as the person selling it.

He did transfer the title because on the way to his house because I switched the intakes and didnt reset the ECM the MAF sensor got dirty and threw a bunch of codes and went into restricted performance. I went to his place about 2 days later to fix it and I had to take it to Autozone to reset the codes and there was registration and insurance in his name in the glovebox and he had a plate. He sounds like he is upselling the car because of being by a military base I bet he is hitting the just got from deployment got money to burn crowd. It's a huge thing when coming back from deployment you have a lot of money saved up and when the younger guys get back they are dieing to spend it. Nice cars are probably the number one thing to buy.

Adds most of the time do not report to car fax, if it ends up at a repair shop or smog or dmv or some thing along those lines with a rolled back odom than a red flag will come up on auto trader. If a lower number gets reported to the dmv than some states could flag it as a TMU car which will kill the valve of the car .

The seller with the radiance car in tampa sells pretty much only jaguars (look at his username) and seems to always have clean cars. I have seen a lot of his listed. I do not know this dealer personally though even though I do business in the area and am from Tampa.
You guys have to know when you sell your car you have to accept the deal for what it is and what happens to it. We all love our cars but the deal you take is the deal you take. If they want sell it for way more after, put hideous mods on it, roll it over in a ditch etc that is their choice.
As far as dealers go no (smart) dealer will take such a huge price difference esp on a $10-$20k car. Cash (or some form of it) usually wont do anything as that is all a lot of dealers take, including myself. In fact I make customers I dont know go to the bank first to confirm the bills are good.
On a side note sorry to see you sold your Vance it was always so well taken care of by you and your videos have been a huge help!

Robert are you sure you can't make it to Ohio? Only 4 hours left on your "dream color" STR!
I would contact seller after the ad expires. No bids and its still at $9,000.00

Yep the outside color is right but White interior that would have to go. I am talking to the guy that has the 2005 black on black on autotrader in Virginia at tha moment. He seems honest and the car looks ok, commitments and the aborted South Carolina trip are slightly putting me off traveling at the moment. Was hoping that a NC car would fall in my lap but no dice. Will prob go up to Richmond in the next few weeks once all the relatives have gone back to the UK.
