Angry ABS

I will try to keep this short, recently i replaced 2 of the parking sensors and stupidly allowed the battery to go flat. I then had an error message about the park brake until I read the manual and followed the correct procedure. All seemed well then until my wife drove the car and the ABS light came on as soon as the ignition light had settled and before the engine was started. When the engine was started ABS fault came up and Sid control unavailable.
I then decided to look at the rear wheel sensors, all look clean and undamaged but now I have a gearbox fault and it will only change up to 2nd gear! Any suggestions welcome.

If the hard reset does not fix the shifting problem I would check the shifter cable adjustment.

Norri, what I omitted from my short story was that I drove 25 miles to an independent jag man who deleted all faults showing, (ABS and low voltage) but as soon as I turned on the ignition, before even starting the engine the ABS light came on again!
Bob, How do I do a hard reset? Do i need a plugin tool?
Also can you throw any light on where or why does a load of steam emit from under the engine bay near the N/S front wheel? This has happened a couple of times within a few minutes of starting from cold.

Steam or smoke? It could be the Webasto heater if it was a cold morning.

It's in the handbook. Or via Search, I expect. Even more details on the UK site.

I wonder if it going flat has in effect reset the (Webasto) fuel burning heater (FBH, aka FFH F=fired).
