ABS/DSC Fault light on S type
Hi, I am aware that several threads have already been postedregarding this but find it almost impossible to find any kind of definitive answer.
I have a 2000 S type 3.0l SE which appears to be trying to drive me insane.
My ABS warning light remains on constantly, as long as the ignition is switched on. It does not flash or flicker and on moving off once past 15 mph the ABS light also goes on.
I have replaced the offside front hub assembly and cleaned all the other speed sensors. The nearside front was rusty and I replaced the reductor ring.
As far as I can ascertain both swtches on the pedals are OK as is the fluid level warning.
Is there any way of checking the ABS pump/module?
Will I need to get the light reset?
I can only switch the DSC on and off if a turn engine off swithch the ingition on. The switch does not work when moving or after the ABS light goes on, Is this normal?
The fault was evident before the above work.
HELP!!!

It will normally self-clear but only if there are no faults.
Easiest and cheapest is probably to get its codes read.
Each module (ten or so) in the car usually has its own codes and modules can be read individually or with the right tool all can be scanned.
You can buy the tool but it's meant for trained personnel so not user-friendly. Or get an indy (or even dealer) to read the codes.
It's an MoT fail currently!
