Hello all, any ideas on what to check? I spent the afternoon putting slotted rotors on the front of my car. I previously only had the rears done. After i drove it to set the brakes in, the ABS fault light came on. It took a few miles to light up and won't go away now. Any insight would be appreciated. Everything looks good

Chances are an ABS/DSC fault code will only be stored in that module.
It's on the CAN bus and may also be on the ISO on the MY of his car.
An ordinary (generic) OBD tool won't know where to look for the module.
No harm scanning, though.
If you've an elm327 and want to try it let me know (it's safe).

I know it's a year since the original post but LISTEN UP!
I just had the ABS fault light come on in my 2005 S TYPE R. This was 10 minutes after going through a car wash and weeks of driving through snow in the harsh Michigan winter, i even got stuck once which led to the unable to apply parking brake fault(this was rectified by a 10 mile drive to get the snow from the calipers and then turning off then back on)
Anyway ABS! I tried turning on and off without success this did however cancel the DSC error message i recieved initially with the ABS fault. I then Tried a Battery disconection...NO LUCK. So i thought i would try and go for a spin to see if it was caused by water from the carwash in the sensors, maybe i could dry it off on the freeway. Anyway as i drove down my driveway in the snow i thought i would test the ABS to see if it actually was failing. IMAGINE my surprise when it worked and the fault light went off! No jag dealer or repair needed.
It would seem that the control unit need to know that it worked in order to tell itself there wasn't a fault and it worked fine.
In short, if you recieve this message and cant reset it, Stress test the ABS and get it to grind, it might work for you as well.
