Default abs problems

hi,still havent got a str yet,its held up because my mondeo st220 has abs issues, the story goes"abs lights came on,car braked, drove fine, put it to garage for new drivers front wheel bearing, after fitting bearing they code read it as r/r sensor fault,so i changed sensor and the lights went out, however when i drove it and used brakes i was getting a pulsing/grinding noise(undriveable really)i put the old sensor back in and brakes were fine apart from the lights back on the dash".so today i changed the r/r bearing/hub assy c/w new sensor, and im still getting this pulsing grinding through the brake pedal.i need to shift this car before i can join the forum properly so anyone got any ideas?thanks, rob.
