ABS/Wheel Hub issues
I have an issue with my 2002 S-type ABS system. I recently got some front end work done Upper Control Arms, Lower Ball Joints, Tie Rods, Sway Bars. Uppon replacing all these parts, I began to drive and the Car started to doing a grinding sound when I would press on the brakes. Mechanic checked brakes (not an issue they are new pads), nothing was in between rotor and brakes. He then told me i would need to replace wheel hubs. I replaced the wheel hubs and the problem did not go away. He did a quick dianostic by disconnecting the ABS sensor on passenger side of wheel well. To surprise the grinding stops, but of course my ABS, and Traction control lights comes on my dash. I would really like to handle this issue because driving around with ABS unplugged is not safe. Please recommend what I should do. This was not an issue before he worked on the front end. I'm tired of spending money and not fixing the problem. I was told that maybe a computer issue, and that the battery must be disconnected before discu=onnecting the sensors, not sure. If a computer problem how do i get the computer reset
Please any help would be greatly appreciated... napokomplexmedia@gmail.com

Oddly enough I had a grinding sound on My XJ8 during braking. It became less after the car warmed up. I looked every place a brake could rub , looked for stoned in the pads etc. The final answer was my driver side exhaust pipe mount(rubber) above the drivers rear tire had disappeared. This cause the pipe to touch the driver side axel shaft upon braking. It stopped after warm up as the pipe would change shape mildy and not touch any more.
