Default Actuator question?

When trying to diagnose the AC problem, a friend unbolted (but didn't unplug) the actuator that is right above the gas peddle (I think it might be the cold air box? not sure). When doing so and changing the temp up and down on the CCM the arm on actuator (my finger pointing to it in photo) did a 180 degree turn and won't come back now?? So needless to say I can't even bolt it back up to side of box because it won't go in the correct position to attach it to lever on box. The lever only moves a little bit each way, and I don't really feel a difference in AC now that I have it working when I manually move lever up or down. Can anyone enlighten me to what I've done? Is the actuator now bad? I was told by someone that sometimes the actuators need to be synced to computer? Any advice or knowledge greatly appreciated.

Ok …i solved it myself, glad i didn't buy a new one….basically every 15 minutes or so it will re-cycle itself in a clockwise direction, but when it gets to the spot it needs to be to hook up to arm it only stays there a few seconds….so after about an hour of trying to quickly hook it up, i joust waited again until it was in that position to unplug it quickly…then I was able to hook it up. and then plug it back in.

So now I finally have everything working correctly, after messing half the things up myself…now ready to sell towards end of summer.

Yes. I try to preach the old medical statement.
First do no harm!

If you are unsure of what you are doing don't break expensive parts.
