Default Adding iPhone streaming music

Hello! I recently purchased an iO Play2 kit and went to get it fitted today, apparently it needs an additional harness. Can anyone confirm that it’s the SOT-082 lead that I need? Thanks in advance! I have the in dash navigation, and I don’t think I have the alpine premium sound.

May depend on what your mystery car details are...

If it's as the site's Jaguar VIN Decoder says, you may struggle to use that device at all. Worth trying some site Search in the hope of details.

Damn. Is my only other option the Mki9200? I believe I’ve seen from other threads on here that it’s just plug and play, even with the nav version jaguars.

The jaguar S-type speaker wires and speakers used are different depenging if you have the premium sound amp fitted or not.
From new if you have 'Alpine' badges on the speakers you have the premium sound, if not then it is standard.

If you do not have the premium sound amp then the speaker wires from the head unit are connected to the car speakers.
If you have the premium sound amp then the speaker wires from the head unit are not connected to the speakers!
If you have the premium sound amp then the wires to the speakers come from the amp in the trunk/boot.
The head unit and the amp are connected via the fibre optic d2b network, not via any wires.
All the speaker wires were fitted to every car, regardless if it had the premium sound or not, the head units are also identical.

Mellow
