Advice please
Hi All
I have a 2006 S Type v6 tdi auto sport premium in black in good condition BD06 UFX, i am thinking of listing it for sale or asking for a swap to an x type just for a bit better fuel economy, i am new the the forum and don't want to do anything wrong, can anyone please advise how i would go about it, thanks

You are going to get somewhat more limited exposure for your offering here, as most forum participants are located "across the pond" from Doncaster... A post in a British Jaguar forum might get your S-type sold a wee bit quicker.
Now, selling an S-type to acquire a re-skinned Mondeo... Really?

Good luck with the sale.
As much as I love the X Type, you are going for a different class of car. Unlike the S Type, I don't think it was hydra bushed, missed out on the smooth ZF six speed, don't think it got the stainless exhaust and missed out on the more sophisticated suspension set up amongst other items.
Also the 2.1 V6 front wheel drive X Type was the most abundant I think in many markets but an absolute slug of a car.. If you must I would be looking at a 3.0 litre petrol V6 (AWD) X Type at least or the last updated model run (quite a nice looking update) with the updated transmission and 4 cyl diesel.

Exactly what I'm thinking.. Other than the 4cyl diesel X Types I don't think the S-Types were that much harder on the juice.
