Looks right...Crutchfield is usually dead on. Also, the 00 through 02 S used a Ford stereo. It is a lot easier to fit an aftermarket to the early S than the 03 and up cars.

Jeff we've sourced everything for an 03+ for a seamless install if you so desire. Actually the Double din goes in smoother with an 03+ - you have to trim the factory bottom piece with an 00-02.

I Noticed my S-type has the amp and subs and speakers by the shifter. Will this harness still work ? It says without amp. Can someone tell me what harness I should use and where to get it, a link would be great.

Thanks Again,
Matt

Where is your amp and "subs?" - what do the speaker grilles on yoru door say?

And NO S-type has speakers by the shifter.

Not true. The LS and S in the early years had speakers in the door and console for premium sound option... Notice the round grills in the picture below...

Have you asked Crutchfield? Also, a search for one for a Lincoln LS with premium sound may also work. I have a latter model S so I haven't searched for one from the early years. The 03 and up cars don't share sound systems with Ford.
