GIYF = Google is your friend...:

http://jagrepair.com/images/AutoRepa...cal-2005on.pdf

This is the Guide for VIN N13089 onwards. My '04 and '05 S-Type both fall into this category.
I assume this guide also covers V8.

But if that is not your guide, then maybe this is:

Maybe this helps:
https://www.jaguarforum.com/threads/...ht-code.78862/
from that I read that your three flashed followed by 3 flashes means airbag code 33

And for airbag code 33:
https://airbagcode.com/jaguar-concept/33

Not sure, if that helps, but maybe it brings you one step closer...

wow, thats great
this car has been in a accident and is a repairable write off,
i bough it at an auction, not knowing what i was doing, i couldn't see where it was damaged and thought it must have been stolen and the insurance company didnt want to get involved in fixing the warning lights, replacing the damaged tires, missing spare wheel etc
i have been looking for the position of the front airbag sensors, i found some information, but it only showed one sensor at the front
the information you have given me is a great help
thanks

This is what I just found:
https://www.fixya.com/cars/t6977258-..._diagram_front

So if I read this correctly, there is one sensor in the front (centre) and 2 on at least one side...

PS: I am confused now, if part 4 or part 1 is the sensor:

Maybe the car didn't have an accident. I had an error on the driver's airbag. The problem was the plug under the steering wheel. I cleaned the plug well, and I have no problems.

Caution: The SRS system is completely disabled when the airbag light is illuminated for any reason. Drive carefully.

On Fords, the airbag light blinks indicate the error code.

3 blinks, a pause, then 3 more blinks indicates airbag error 33.

Code 33 commonly indicates a fault with the driver side belt pretensioner circuit. This could be caused by wiring or more commonly, the tensioner itself. The code is thrown by the Restraints Control Module (RCM) which checks the pretensioners circuit at each ignition cycle.

Be aware, airbag codes are not standardized across all models. Code 33 typically indicates an issue with the tensioner, but it is not guaranteed.***

See posts below, where some X-Type owners were prompted with a code 33.

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x-type-x400-14/airbag-light-flash-code-33-a-126467/

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x-type-x400-14/airbag-code-33-diy-repair-76060/

*** Airbag codes have been updated over time as new generations of SRS systems were created. For example, some 1997 Ford Rangers do not have seat belt pretensioners or a passenger side airbag. Code 33 on this model is noted as a fault with the passenger side airbag. In reality, there is a connector and resistor behind the passenger side faux air bag cover, which when dirty or disconnected, can throw the error code. This was done as a cost cutting measure, allowing FoMoCo to use the same SRS control module across several models both with and without a passenger airbag.
