aircon help please !!!!
2004 s type, have replaced the heater valve,(3 way valve under the header tank) have replaced the climate control module, has been re-gassed yet still blows hot air on drivers side regardless, with this weather and the nature of my work i really need the aircon fully operational
any thoughts or suggestions ??? thanks

Welcome to the forum, Jay. I hate to break it to you, but just because your water valve may be new...doesn't necessarily mean it actually functions properly. However, forget about that for now, and proceed straightaway to Karl's epic a/c troubleshooting thread. Follow his steps and it will systematically lead you to the problem.

thanks yeah read the guide, got mega brainache, will start trouble shooting again tomorrow, will not be impressed if a brand new valve has failed the moment it was installed to the car, id allready checked relays and can hear the compressor kick in when activated the aircon, now im back of out to check a couple of other things before start cussing and telling the wife im of to buy an aston lol

been through the guide and tried pretty much everything including a replacement ccm which made a slight improvement it now blows cold on the passenger side, so im suspecting replacement was faulty to, even my mechanic now scratching his head and said told ya to get a proper car not one of these fords in a frock lol

Specifically, run the tests in post #2 of the guide to determine if the DCCV is responding properly to command inputs. You can easily do this yourself. You don’t need to pay a mechanic.
If that passes, drive the selected temperature down until LO is displayed. This puts the system in manual mode, and bypasses some of the automatic features. More details in the guide.
The guide was written for the average owner, with minimal tools and no professional help. Don’t just skip around, cherrypicking info and hoping for the best. As previously mentioned, don’t assume your DCCV is good just because it was recently replaced. Test that first and then go from there, based on the current symptoms, not what you think the problem may be.
