I have a 2002 s-type, 3.0 jag. My car alarm keeps going off. Replaced battery and I am still having the same problem. No battery in the key fob so that is not the problem either. Any suggestions?

If you are comfortable with a voltmeter, you can try to check your car according to the attached bulletin. There could be a voltage loss to the front body processor. The bulletin doesn't say it, but power loss to this terminal also makes the car act like you disconnected the battery. When you reconnect the battery on these, the security system defaults to "Armed". Having the key in the ignition helps prevent it going off, but lots of times opening the door sets it off. I don't know why they didn't amend the bulletin to add this, but they didn't.
