Default Almost

Let us start at the beginning, non? Every winter, I put my Jag away and get into a 2000 Honda Civic - my winter beater. Spending a few months behind the wheel of this car is not something that I even remotely enjoy. Hence, three weeks ago, I decided that I've had enough. Goodbye Honda, goodbye Jaguar, hello something AWD that I could drive year round.

I test drove some Subarus and while fun to drive....well, they ain't a Jag. Went to see some Audis. Too much money and I've done that before. Mercedes? I don't like the way they look now and how much????? Range Rover. Too much money, poor fuel economy and too big.

So, what to do? I've decided. I'm going to go pick up a Chevy Equinox and dump a whole lot of cash into my Jag. It will be faster, will have a better sound system and everything will work (I'm going to get the headlight fixed properly).

A much better deal and I'll still get to drive something stylish, fast and sexy.

Move south to get out of that weather (like SoCal ) so you can drive your Jag year around. You can get rid of the chebby also and have more fun(ds) for your Jag.

LOL. I have a house in Newport Beach (my dad is living there now) right above Fashion Island. I go there from time to time but am making way more money here. I love the winter, just not what it does to the Jag. As for the Chevy, she's gonna be the people and stuff mover and winter vehicle.

The Jag goes into the shop on the 15th for new tires, brake pads, headlight repair, scratch & dent removal and new mats. The I am going to get new exhaust, chip update and the pulley upgrade. Should keep smiling for a while!

I'm going to keep her. I am going to dump the money I was going to use as a down on a new car and fix her up. I am going to get the Chevy as a transport/winter car....
