Default Alright We did the shoot. Here is my S-type Show car. This is a teaser!!!

So I have started a new company that caters to luxury tuning with Jaguar in mind. I wanted to show people that contrary to most belief there is a lot you can do to Jags. I even went as far as creating custom one off parts that if you guys like I will manufacture in carbon fiber. So please give me your feed back.

This pic is a taster so stay tuned to this thread and I will load the remainder of the pics as I get them. (This is untouched)

Cool. Can you make my Jag shift at redline in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd?

Rick....hello? It's inside a warehouse or garage....he wanted to better hear the throaty roar of the Jag V-8!!!

I have a question: Did you get your car resprayed by a body shop that was too lazy to mask your bumper chrome strips?

It's the sport so all the chrome parts are body coloured.

Looking good!

The story so far is to just put an earlier TCM file in. Which looks very easy except you need at least a J2534 tool (or WDS / IDS / etc). Not that cheap to buy so need a tech with one.

Default I believe it or not wasn't even prepaid to do a shoot that day.

I didn't even wash the car. The window was cracked because I was driving and my friend decided to hang out the window of the car to get the shot and I needed to hear his directions. This is just a sart for this car.

What to expect: Slight wide body, 20" rims instead of 19" Custom finished STR brembos, J&W coil overs for better handling, boot lid style trunk in carbon fiber, my custom roof spoiler in carbon fiber, a full carbon fiber roof, Custom rear bumper with splitters, side splitters, custom front bumper STR Style with adjustable lip, vortech supper charger, XjR front seats with tray in the back, new stitching with two tone interior, front mount intercooler with fogger system, Oh and I almost forgot, XjR fender vents.

The question is should it stay this color or go flat pearl white

Default I may have a module that can help you reprogram your entire ECU

What is the year make and model? Please verify. I will make some calls. You may have to send yours in as a core.

I revs rather quickly in first but I would say 55-5700 in first 5700-5900 in second, and almost redline in 3rd but not quite.

still waiting for someone to fix this quickly, efficiently, and for the right price point.

I am kind of confused as what to expect, and challenge you to do this right. If you want to do a wide body kit, dont make the rims huge to negate acceleration and handling, but rather allow for some really wide tires like 325's in the back.

Roof spoiler, please dont do that, no car has ever looked good with one. Maybe an 06 to 07 STI, but thats really pushing it.

Rear bumper with splitters? Center exhaust, i dare you.

I am wondering what you are going to do about the high compression ratio in the stock 4.2 non SC V8. Turbos are the way of the future...

FMC - good call, would be interested to see how this turns out relative to our current STR setup.

I'd be thinking about a rear diffuser for the 05+ in carbon. I think it would work perfect especially since I hate the stupid grey plastic there and it would look so much better with a diffuser like the XKR-S. I'd also be interested in a tasteful small carbon front lip that mounted flush with the bottom of the front bumper. If I was you I would look at turbos instead of a supercharger. With how much a kit will end up costing plus having to buy a V8 S Type you would be better off just getting an R that has the bottom end built for it, then you get the Brembos for free. Most likely would be alot cheaper since STR arent really priced really high. There are some very nice examples out there for well under 20k.
This is one of my favorite cars and will probably be a college graduation preset to myself since my STR will be paid off when I finally do graduate. The front and rear carbon diffuser and lower spoiler just make the car look alot better and I really wish they were available for the STR because I think it would look equally as good.

Something like this for the front.

This for the back.

To replace this for the STR.

AHHH the E55AMG, some day, or perhaps CLS55AMG. Unfortunately, the STR is a poor mans XXX55AMG . Very good points, and very nice car above less the yellow calipers.

Uh oh. I really like the yellow calipers. I could be biased though about painted calipers. LOL.
