Yellow on silver/gray is acceptable it's even a factory color combo on lambo and ferrari.

I like the CF front lips to good call Vance, I had that exact one on my E55 and I love some of the ones for the M3. I would be in for a CF trunk and hood that I would paint body color just for weight savings but It would have to fit 100%. I had a CF hatch on my supra drag car and it leaked in the rain, fine for a drag car but would have been a no go for a street car. I am working on weight savings while keeping the luxury aspect of the car.

What color should I do my calipers. I'm buying new concave wheels in Flat black and I think it would look cheese to do them in the same color as the car. I'm thinking of doing them in a high polish and putting the Jaguar R back on them. Then again it isn't an R so that might be cheese to. What do you think of me putting the jag logo on them? Like the one in this pic.

Gorgeous pic! Keep that color in my opinion, and I"m not a fan of red at all, but that looks fantastic.

Calipers, well I am partial to the OEM silver for the Brembo's. I agree it might be too much to do them body color. The car is so pretty as it is, I wouldn't want to draw too much attention to the calipers. My opinion on the lettering is to go with "Jaguar' but leave off the "R" for the reason you mentioned.

I painted mine red and did a similar logo but the leaper and Jaguar next to each other. With your color if you want it to pop I'd go with yellow. If you want something suddle I'd go black and do the logos in like white.

The question is should it stay this color or go flat pearl white

So, translating all this into plan English - Riced up.

Surprised you didn't put some quick release hood pins and some faux carbon fiber trim, just to complete the picture.

You need to befriend a better photographer - I like your car though and the wheels you are keeping are the better choice. Now detail those brakes with such an open wheel.

Ya I agree. It was some chick that was shooting our cars at our bi weekly euro owned car club meets.

As for the breaks I'm not to concerned at the moment as my new ones are at paint getting done right

My late 2 cents...

Love your plans. For judged car shows, dark metallics will always score better than white. I would stick with your color. Burgundy also has a depth advantage over most colors when you have no orange peal and good polish work. I have been a car show judge since the mid-1990s and had a burgundy show car undefeated in the VW scene from 1994-2004. Sadly it was sold and went to Wisconsin, but reappeared in Eurotuner last Spring.
