Yes the seal goes around the outside rim of the thermostat. From your picture I can't tell if it has a jiggle valve or not. But it's function to keep air bubbles from getting trapped behind the thermostat. Also allows small coolant flow when the thermostat is fully closed. Some guys just drill a small hole at the 12:00 o'clock position and don't worry about the valve part.

Here is the jiggle valve and it needs to orientated correctly. Which is straight up at the 12:00 o'clock position.

Hi

I have an issue with my C/C/M I am missing two resistors!?

I don't suppose you know the value of these two resistors and or have a close up picture of the two resistors in case they are two different values. I just can't see them when I zoom in.

Thanks very much

they are definitely missing - you can see a solder ridge either side of where they are supposed to be

I don’t suppose you still have the picture you took?

thanks for getting back to me so quick 👍🏻

Thats a lovely bite Aarcuda! Was this dog running free or did it try and attack your dog?
I think its owner may be in some trouble!

It was two of my own dogs fighting and I jumped in because I was afraid theyd kill each other. They didnt mean to hurt me. I just got my body parts in the way of their mouths in the heat of battle

Use a blanket next time if you can, advice from my vet.
I always had pit bulls, great dogs, he just said don't jump in if they ever fight.
Use a blanket, because they will bite YOU.
Maybe by mistake, but your still bit.
Blankets for their beds, in a few places around the house.
In front of heat vents is a great place for them.
Never needed to use one for them fighting, thankfully.
But old blankets make good dog beds.

and what?throw it over them?

if theres 2 people, a good way is both people stand behind a dog and simultaneously grabbed both back legs and lift up while backing up. The dogs instantly stop biting and are confused. But the fight stops

Sorry
Yes you throw it over top of them, so they loose sight of one another.
Then you can get involved.
