OK Jon, you were right....but I was lucky!
Lots less protection on this wiring on the 05 vs. the 03, but my 05 is not tight against crossmember, still no chafing.
I wrapped it with a sleeve anyway.
Also lucky with my shifter bolts, one very tight, the other snug, but it took maybe 1/16 of a turn.

NO AND IMAGINE THAT WHEN REGIONAL MANAGMENT GOT INVOLVED FINALLY THERE HAPPENED TO BE 500 GAS TANKS SITTING IN A WAREHOUSE IN UK FOR THE FUEL TANK RECALL FROM A FEW YRS BACK. BUT THEYRE A DIFFERANT PART NUMBER AND THATS WHY THEY DONT SHOW IN THE SYSTEM. A DEALER IN LOUISSIANNA JUST HAPPENED TO HAVE 1 IN STOCK. DONE AND GONE, FINALLY............
