Not hard.

All done from the top.

Time consuming, YES.

The LH is simple enough. Air cleaner assmbly removed, and its basically in your face.

The RH has the heater tap in the way, and some have gained access by simply lifting it out of its bracket, I did not. So I remove it and bit the bullet and replaced the heater tap at the same time.

First car took 5 hours, 2nd car all done in 3 hours.

No idea of videos or such, I just dived in and attacked. It needed doing, nuff said.

I don't know about RHD cars but the LHD X200 requires the DCCV to be 'displaced' for access to the RH Stabilizer Bush mount bracket fasteners.

Working from UNDER the car, I remove the one DCCV mount bracket fastener and loosen the other. LIFT the DCCV along with the mount bracket and push it up and out of the way. The hoses will flex enough to allow this. A 10mm flex socket (1/4" drive) and a long extension will access both fasteners.

A deep 13mm socket is used to remove the Stab bar mount bracket fasteners from the studs.

I did dozens of bush replacements when the cars were in warranty. Jaguar paid less than 1 hour for the job.

Same silly placement Bob.

When I have a heater tap to do, I ALWAYS do those bushes at the same time.

Or, the other way around.

I did a little work on my 2000 suspension and documented my replacement of the anti roll bar bushings. Work your way to the end of this link.
