On one of the webs fast cars sites you can find official track times for cars. There are STR owners who drove their own stock or lightly modified STR's clocking 13.1 and 13.3 in the quarter mile. 0-60 mph in rare cases for a stock STR have been clocked at 4.8 seconds. On average for a stock STR you will see anywhere between 5.2 and 5.5 seconds and 13.6 1/4 mile times.
Add a smaller pulley, low temp thermostat, K&N filter, open up exhaust, and lowering springs can shave off close to 1 second 0-60 and 1/4 mile.
Add an ECU tune and/or port/polish supercharger and you may be able to shave off an additional 1/2 second.

bdelgros, go to dragtimes.com A bone stock 05 STR ran a 13.1 1/4 mile, another a 13.3, etc. Several of us here have performed mods. If ya check through the threads you'll read on them. This spring I'm taking my 03 modded STR to the track to run against my mechanics Rousch/Yates (his sponsor) 9 second 83 Mustang GT. The motor is a 1000 hp Rousche/Yates 427 small block that ran on Pinks a few times. With a full modded exhaust, 3 lb pulley, low temp. thermostat, and a modded air intake tube, I'm hoping to run a 12.5 or lower 1/4. Let us know if ya need info. on modding.
