It's even modded...
...
Modded is why he'll be lucky to get 16.5k..... The only thing that depreciates faster than high end European cars, are modifications to high end European cars....

Seriously, modified cars are always worth less than a clean original car. People are scared of modded cars, and rightly so. You don't know how good or bad the installation was done. You also don't know if the driver modded the car to then beat on it...

(read about Bertandgrey's saga in Cleveland over wiring issues that was more than likely caused by an install of remote start before he bought the car) (I recall another user finding "boxes" and cut off wire hidden behind his trunk liner)

Heck... Great way to get stuff for my Chrysler is to go on this LX forum and scope out stuff under the heading "Back to Stock sale". Not that I don't modify, I just make sure that I can put everything back to stock before selling it.... The seller listing that 05 should do the same and he will be able to get more for the car....

Gee you mean people might be leery of a car with a special SC pulley and other "performance mods" when they're shopping for a used on? ...

I know I avoided those like the plague. But it depends on the make and model of car too. I have one where everyone is looking to make sure you fixed the original issues with it so they won't have to.

Yeah, I figure why would someone spend a bunch of money to make it faster I they didn't intend to "test" it? I would also suspect they were flogging on it previous to the mods to realize they wanted more. Of course there may be a few that just want to do it cause they read about it.

I recently bought a wrecked Grand Prix to fix & sell. The PO had some aftermarket stereo in it. The harness is all butchered up and there is some sort of black box I suspect is a remote starter. Thank goodness I have a parts car with a intact harness.
