appearance of smoke from air conditioner intake!
Ok, Hoenstly I know that I was driving roughly like treating my car as a sport car lol.. and all of sudden, when I stopped due to stop sign, I could see little smoke came from air conditioner intake..
since I bought this car 03 s type, I sometimes could a smell of burning tho..
but at that time, I thought it was just little problem of cabin filter which is really dirty so that even mechanic asked me to replace it!!
so, plz tell me if it is really super serious problem? like engine or whatever,,or just,,,

My bet is the IMT O-Rings are leaking onto the heat shield on passenger (US) exhaust. See FAQ for replacement technique!
BTW to varify leaking o-rings use a clean rag and wipe the lower tuning valve if there is oil bingo! Another check to is to look at the pass. side heat shield for signs of oil being burnt on it.

Stinky oil smell was the first sign I got for failed IMT O-rings. After smelling oil I checked around and saw just a little oil on the valve cover bolts. It honestly looks like the valve covers are leaking but it was the IMT valves leaking out of the back of the intake and dripping down on the valve cover.
