Hey I've been looking for a replacement ashtray lid for my '02 S-Type and I found one on the internet, but it doesnt say what model or year it will fit, it only has a part number. The part number is 1XXR853090SDZ. Can anyone tell me what model/year this is for and if it will fit an '02 S-Type? Thank you!

Does the site have a picture of the ashtray lid? I'm guessing it will fit, but the woodgrain may be different than what's in your car depending on year and model. I would check with your Jaguar dealer since they can do a cross reference for you.

The part number you listed is for a Cashmere color ashtray cover. The dash did not have wood on the ashtray cover until the interior change in 2003. The actual Jaguar part number is XR853090SDZ with the SDZ part denoting the color. The cover should fit as long as it is the correct color.

 

Yes, the picture of it looks exactly like the color of my interior. I just wanted to make sure it would fit before I bought it. Thank you everyone!!
