Default battery drain

hi all
ive got a battery drain being caused by air con i have removed fuse for air con and all working fine any ideas on cause

Might pay to add your car YEAR, and engine size, etc, to your sig. The X200 is different to the X202, and so on.

Maybe the compressor has seized, thus causing the relay to "stick" on, but that is a guess.

i would have said crook relay , it may have failed on its own at this age . well worth checking to see if the pump turns or not as stated above , as well as checking the clutch activates ,
have you checked to see how many amp's its drawing with a multi meter ? also does the clutch on the compressor click on when you fit the fuse ?

There's a thread...possibly a sticky; some member here wrote a step-by-step guide to tracking down battery drain issues. Might be worth a look for you.
