Battery drain- s-type
Hi everyone,
My s-type battery went completely flat. I put this down originally to the apparently common leaky boot problem. All is now dry!
My battery was charged but once again went flat.
The battery seems fine, 12.7V and is 6 months old. The alternator is giving out 13.8V, I assume also fine.
Does anyone know the resistance I should get measuring acroos the battery leads, with the battery removed and the ignition off????
p.s. changed the grill to SS mesh and will be loading pics soon, love it....

No point in measuring the resistance. It will change with time by a lot but also your meter will output a low voltage so would read something weird.
You can read current with care - it may be quite large.
The car modules shut down in stages over 30-40 mins when working right so early measurements aren't much use.
