Default battery issue/connection

2001 S type: replaced battery and cables(back to front) starter regularly for two months and now I will find dead after a day of driving! I use my handy dandy quick charge and fire right up then runs a couples and the same problem or even sooner.. could the connection to starter cause this problem?
the battery is brand new and does not seem to drain what so ever..a quick jump and its running..is there something else that I could be missing?

Lots of things can cause it. Don't rush to blame the alternator as it could be a faulty relay, module or wiring. Even the stalk for lights.

Do some reading of what others have done to find it, especially how to go about checking relays and so on.

Thanks for the inputs! I can rule out the battery cable, unless theres a loose connection on the starter? Where is the relay located so, one check this out?
