I am the first owner of a 2006 S-Type.

I am having no joy in uploading the phonebook of my Nokia 950 XL (running Windows 10 mobile OS) to the car phone memory/directory. No problem with uploading information from older smartphone (i.e., Dell Venue Pro Window 7.8 mobile OS) I would appreciate assistance with this matter. Do I need a firmware update? If so, how what is the procedure for obtaining this?

I suppose first you find out if you have the latest (car) firmware.

Once you do, if it doesn't do what you want you're probably stuck as the car is 12 yrs old (with a design maybe 15 yrs old).
