Boot Lid Decal
Hi all,
I am missing the letter Y from the S Type decal on the back of my jaguar. I want to replace this but cannot find anywhere to buy it or just buy the 1 letter.
Could anyone out there help me out and tell me where I can buy this letter or even get the whole S Type as I would love to tidy it up.
It is an S Type auto diesel 54 plate if that makes a difference.
Thanks all
Wullie

Many thanks for your reply. I have tried Ebay but could only find 1 but that was used and missing some of the chrome :-(
I did try that second site you gave me and when I clicked the drop down list to get the S Type badge it shot up from £12 to £45 and then they added VAT. Did I do something wrong????
I just can't believe that the "S Type" badge costing£50 or more.
Many thanks.

They aren’t giving them away, but that’s just how crash parts are. Exterior light lenses, bumper covers, trim, and so on will always go for top price due to supply and demand. Get in a fender bender and those are the pieces you need.
While not cheap, £50 isn’t outrageous. I was once in a similar situation, needing the Y (in Mercury) for the rear hatch on my wife’s car. I stopped at the dealer, figuring they could order one. The poor guy at the parts counter was getting frustrated because he couldn’t find it in his parts books. He said he’d have to make some calls and get back to me. The next day he apologetically called. The letters were not available individually and only came with the entire liftgate assembly, for several thousand dollars. I politely declined and we kept driving our Mercur as is.
