Default brake crash bracket location

s type x200 2000 v6 auto replacing steering rack but when removing old unit the brake crash bracket fell of. I can find no actual location in the handbook aparently it is held in place by steering column, can anyone advise or show a picture of location. thanks

what is a brake crash bracket? Never heard the term before. describe please!

part number XR8011543 sits at the end of steering column very close to the steering column lock switch. number three in this section. it is obviously held in place by the column as when I removed it fell out. In the handbook it states that if not replaced correctly risk component damage. I would assume in the event of a crash the bracket stops the column causing problems with the brake switch. hence the name brake crash bracket. although in the parts manual it is just described as bracket.
