Default Brake pads

I need new front brake pads for my 2006 S.T.R. What is the recommended brake pad for daily driving ? Ceramic or Semi Metallic ? I prefer one that produces little brake dust, also what brand.?
Thank You

I recently replaced mine with a set of the Brembo NAO Ceramic. Their quiet, have a nice initial bite, and I don't notice an unusual amount of dust, but it is still early.

I have an 06 str. I tried the ceramic and did not like them seemed like they did not sit square and dragged a little. After a short drive i could smell them and the rotor was really hot. Went back to semi and all was great. Maybe the difference was in the brand. I dont know but i prefer the semi. 06 str does not use brembo unfortunately. Probably a cost issue

I had great luck with Akebono pads on my XJR. Virtually no dust, ferocious stopping power. The initial bite is a bit soft but the the overall feel is very progressive.

I bought a full set for my S-Type though haven't installed them yet. I'm expecting a good experience again.

Cheers
DD
