Brake squeak question

Lately I have started hearing a squeak sound when I apply the brakes. It sounds like it is coming from the rear wheels. Do the parking brake pads have a wear indicator tab or something?

Only when they're so bad they start damaging the rotors! Investigate yesterday!!

Agreed. You need to pull your rear wheels and inspect the brake pads. Immediately....
