Apparently they made in the region of 32M GBP (47M USD) profit and to quote Tata “JLR’s success is down to improved market conditions, as well as cost cutting measures and the launch of several new models.”
Of interest however, are the new models, the revised Land Rover Discovery, Range Rover and Range Rover Sport but no Jaguar.

From what my US dealer has said..The XFR has helped generate "showroom traffic". And who said limited production extreme performance vehicles don't generate incremental sales....

Oh, and even back in the S-Type's day they went as far as showing what was basically an S-Type coupe, but we all know how far that got.....

It has been "bounced around"... Enough rumor to generate some "photo-chops" that are "supposed to be the next Jaguar coupe". Very unlikely. What is supposed to be in the plans is a less expensive sports car to supplement the XK line. Think Boxter. Jaguar's new owners think that they would do better working a "back to the roots" 35k sports car than trying to sell an entry level sedan or a coupe.

That photochop was done back in 2002 or 2003. It was called the RD6. It was never built. Wish it was. It's a good looking car.

from Jaguar Press Release) Jaguar takes a leap into the future with the North American public debut of a new concept car at the 2002 NYIAS (New York International Auto Show) today. Conceived to demonstrate how the company’s design philosophy may develop in coming years, the Jaguar R-Coupe is a prestigious and sensuous four-seater coupe that reinterprets Jaguar’s core design values in a fresh and forward-thinking way.
“We challenged our designers to show how the Jaguar ‘look’ could advance in the years ahead, to reflect the company’s transformation from niche manufacturer to major player in the premium car sector” says Mike Beasley, Jaguar’s managing director. “This represents a long-term vision though, rather than anything that we will see tomorrow. The R-Coupe provides an insight into Jaguar's long term future design philosophy, reaffirming our commitment to create cars that stir people's emotions.”
It was called the R-Coupe. The RD-6 was a compact 5 door concept. It was built for the 2003 show circuit. It also used a S-Type like nose but wasn't a coupe. Here it is.....

And here are some examples of the photochops I've talked about. These are just speculation pictures where someone "makes" a coupe. Jaguar never built any of these, not even as one off concepts.....
Here's the thing...Until a concept actually hits the show circuit and you can get pictures of it on a turn table...Don't believe what you see on the web..
