Default A/c blows hot air 2003 jaguar s-type

I got a 2003 Jaguar S-Type, The DCCV had a leak, so i replaced it with a new one. To my surprise the reservoir tank began to leak coolant, which landed on the DCCV connector, suddenly cold air stopped and began to blow hot air. I checked freon, ok, checked compressor, ok, replaced with new DCCV, problem still exists i am desperately seeking help to troubleshoot the problem, please help

You will find loads of DCCV info if you search. It is quite common to fry the CCM when the valve goes bad, so that may be worth a look.

no it doesn't have nav, i keep reading on other threads that there is a possibility my climate control module fryed. i connected the old heater valve and only one solenoid closes, the other is stuck, compressor works, there is freon in the system, fuses ok, new heater valve and still blows hot air. im new to this forum and don't know how to navigate around for the right info regarding this a/c issue. i wonder if barnes n noble sells jaguar forum for dummies lol.

You could try clamping the hoses from the DCCV closed to stop flow to the heater core, if that gives you cold air head for the CCM.
Take a gander at this thread https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...-2003-a-36719/

after massive research, my conclusion is that the CCM is damaged, so i headed out to a TV repair shop and was told that the circuit board was burned, cost of repair $45 bucks, crossing fingers :-). I will post the outcome, thanks for the help guys..

Default A/C problem

Hi there, u know I had the exact same problem...I found here and on u-tube how to fix the damaged circuit on the Climate control w/a soldering pen from radio shack....it worked great. But now that I need the heater, the driver side is only Luke warm, compared to the passenger side...so another project to resolve... Best wishes to you. Linda

Default U-tube link

Hi JagBoy, here's a link to view the disassembly of the CCM; the damaged circuit is pretty obvious to the eye. We've had to repair the circuit a couple of times w/ a soldering pen bcuz of coolant hose leaks. There is an upgrade to the CCM so it doesn't fry again, but I haven't done that as yet. Here it is for what it's worth
