Calipers and rotors
Has anyone upgraded their rotors from 300mm to 326 mm? The rears are not a common rotor to find but the fronts (305 mm)are and every time I go to a brake site and add my car in the search, it always pulls up 326 for my model , year and type of vehicle. I have been talking with R1 Concepts but I have been told only Jaguar still holds the license for this particular 300mm rotor. The 300mm rotors are very costly from what I have found but I can get the 326mm for a fraction of the price. Since It seems the 326 mm rotors to be the common rotor online for my vehicle, it looks like I need to change my calipers out to accommodate the larger size rotor, question is has anyone had to do it, what parts are needed and what does it entail?

???? I went to 2 or 3 sites. Each offers the choice of 300 or 320mm dia. at similar prices.

Try putting model year 2005 in your search instead of 2008. Not sure if the parts are identical.

Indeed, i just checked... they don't seem to have any of the 326mm rear rotors...
Not sure what would be required to convert to 300mm rotors in the rear,
likely caliper brackets, maybe calipers themselves too, I'm not too sure what the electronic parking brake looks like on your car (I'm not very familiar with anything bu the R model brembo brakes on these cars)... does the EPB cable engage a 'drum brake' style mechanisim inside the rotor hat, or does it pull on a mechanical linkage attached to the caliper itself?
How much mileage on you car?
Generally, cars are pretty easy on their rear rotors, you may need pads, but your rotors should still be good to reuse, or at least machine.
Don't do the rear rotors if they really don't need doing.
