I attached 2 pics. I mistakingly moved the adjustment I guess on one of the 2 screws thats above headlights in the engine compartment. Can anyone tell me what its for and how to properly adjust it? It looks like a height adjustor for the hood don't know exactly, I just made sure when the hood is closed its not touching; but not locked the rubber on the screw isn't completely touching it didnt want to obstruct it in any way ![Icon Emm](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_emm.gif)
Thanks to those who can help.

You are correct they are hood bumpers. They should touch the bottom of the hood. See if the side of the hood is even with the fenders. If it's high then screw in the adjuster. If the hood is low compared to the fender (Which is what you should have now if you backed the adjuster down so it does not touch the hood) then adjust it up until you are happy with how the hood and fenders match or mate. The hood is attached in the center so you might have to adjust one side and then the other which might throw off the first side alignment
