Default Can someone tell me what the name of this part is

2002 S type v6. I called the jag dealer and they can't find it with my description.

If I had to guess, It would be called the fuel injector block. This is the black plastic block that the fuel injectors sit in and the upper intake manifold bolts onto. It is about 3 inches tall, has 3 air inlets where the intake manifold sits on, and has 3 openings for the injectors. The parts guy at my local dealer had no idea what I was talking about, but anyone who has pulled the intake manifold surely knows this part.......Just need the name, or better yet, part number.

THanks

The lower inlet manifold is what it is called.
JEPC lists it under Engine, Inlet and Exhaust Manifolds, Inlet Manifold V6 (a VIN is required to determine the correct part)

They are called the inlet manifolds.

The part number is gonna depend on your vin# try part #xr827786 or if you got your vin just need the m or n then the 5 digits after and can get you a more accurate number. It bolts on those holes right and has the injectors mount in them. Basically lifts the intake manifold up a few inches and mounts the injectors. I'll try and get a better pic but this should help for now.
