Default Can you add Adaptive Cruise to an STR?

Is this even possible? Is the harness already there so if you bought the pieces from Jag or found them in a wrecking yard could this be done in a reasonable manner?

Thanks.

May be possible...but may be very difficult to find the sensor that fits to the front lower facia. S-Type Adaptive Cruise Control was a rare option I believe.

I also think that the front bumper facia may be different.
Having never seen or used it on this model I have a question.
In addition to that center button on the lower LH (for those in the USA) side of the dash is there another adjustment for distance button somewhere like on the steering wheel?

That would make it pretty darn hard to add it on later.

I may be wrong but I think there is another button on the steering wheel thats on the side like the track changing button on the radio side. I've seen it on the ones that have it as an option and havent seen it on any other models so I'm assuming its part of the system.

Mine has the adaptive cruise, it uses the existing up/down buttons on the steering wheel to adjust distance. When you use the up/down button, the lcd display in the in instrument cluster indicates distance setting, 1, 2 , 3, etc.

Hmmm, that's different than the pictures I've seen so maybe it varies by year?
