Cannot acquire oil filler tube for 2000-2002 S-type 4.0L V8

I have been trying for weeks to get my hands on an oil fill tube and cap for a 2000 - 2002 S-type V8. The only one I can find on the internet is 90 bucks from the dealership. I can't find any from local salvage yards. The cap seems to be a little easier to find.
Do any of you know a way around this? could I use a fill tube from different or later models? from models from a '00 - '02 Lincoln LS? Could I just forget the tube and the cap plug the bloody valve cover with a rubber stopper? I'm just trying to keep oil from leaking everywhere.
Much appreciated,
Squeaky Wheel

Hi Squeakywheel
I have the valve cover off an S Type 4.0 V8. You may just need an O ring. But if you need a replacement a Lincoln 3.9 V8 looks like it will fit. Someone on the forum may know for sure.
Here is a parts links to the Lincoln. Oil Fill Tube and Cap $38.44

https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts...ipe-xw4z6763aa
This link has a good discussion on the Lincoln oil fill tube with information on taking it off the valve cover.

It might be an idea to buy the Ford part and look at them both together. If it is a fit keep it. If it is different return it.

Paul792 is on the money.
First, it is probably a leaking o ring and second the Lincoln LS part should be a direct fitment.
You will more than likely find it to be the same part number - sans a different letter, but identical.
Personally, I'd go changing the o ring first - unless the fill cap tube is cracked.

I thought maybe the lincoln LS tube would fit, but guys at O'reilly's and Autozone said that it would not fit (based on what the computer told them).
I just ordered the 2000-2002 Lincoln LS 3.9L part from the Ford website (URL below). part number 2W4Z-6763-AA. I will post an update when I try receive the part.

Thanks for the replies, guys. My tube is indeed cracked and broken. it needs more than just an O-ring. I ordered one from tascaparts two weeks ago and they cancelled the order a few days later saying that the tube was no longer in stock.

Do you have your heart set on a new part? This isn't a part that normally wears out, so isn't exactly in high demand. With virtually no demand, there probably won't be many new ones in the supply pipeline, as you have already discovered.
Are you okay with a good quality used part? Ebay comes to mind for parts like this. I didn't find your exact part yet, but did find this cap that came from your exact model/year:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/JAGUAR-S-TY...8AAOSwBGRdv1-u
That means they also had the part you needed in their yard. They probably didn't bother listing it because so few people ever need one. Try contacting the seller and asking if they still have the tube. As a bonus, I've dealt with this seller on other auctions with good results.
Here is their non-eBay contact info (9 Lives Auto Salvage) if you'd rather go that way:

The issue has been resolved!
I ordered a new filler tube and cap (complete with O-rings) from a Ford dealership for $45 US. I phoned a nearby dealership to inquire about the part, and though they did not have it, they referred me to a dealership that did.
Part number 2W4Z-6763-AA for a 2000-20002 Lincoln LS 3.9L V8 fits a 2000-2002 Jaguar S-type 4.0L V8
Since I live in a very rural part of Missouri, no salvage yards within reasonable driving distance had the part I was looking for. I would have preferred snagging a used tube first.
Thank you to all who replied!
@Robinus , I hope you get what you're looking for.
