Cargo Net
Howdy Folks !!...
What does Jag call that cargo net thingee in the trunk? I need one, but I can't find a reference to what they're called in any on-site Jag parts catalog. Every time I make a corner, or a stop, it sounds like a three piece Jazz combo in my trunk.
Thanks

DOH !!...
Now why didn't I think of that... Of course it's a Cargo Net... But I was looking for a Genuine, Boni-fide, for Real and not to be confused Jag Net. I just figured that if it came with the car, it would be a "part or accessory" But yes...a generic would work just dandy.
Thank you Gentelman for the info

There's some possibilites here https://www.jaguarparts.com/catalog/...d06afbe643acdc a tad pricey though.
I think Costco sounds good.

Good link Norri!
It was a Jaguar site where I saw it called "Trunk Hammock Net" so that might be the offical jargon.
EDIT - here you go, although you can get a universal one for like $20 at the parts store: https://www.jaguarparts.com/catalog/...oducts_id=1228
This sliding shelf thingy is pretty cool, although yeah it's pricey: https://www.jaguarparts.com/catalog/...oducts_id=1226
I use plastic milk crate type bins for trunk storage - with a few rubber floor mats I had laying around to go under them to keep them from sliding around. You can get them for like $8 at Target or the like.

Why would you put anything 'dirty' in the boot (trunk) of a beautiful car ? Surely one has such items delivered, or at least get ones man servant to collect said items

ROFLMAO...the only man servant around this house is me....
Let's see....$20 of plants and $75 delivery charge..wifey would have my scalp...

Think of the time and effort in shampooing and hoovering the boot carpet, and Jeeves isn't getting any younger you know. What what !!

We are planing on taking Laurie's Jag to Watkins Glen this year. We stay at the KOA and like a campfire at night. In the past we buy some firewood from the locals and haul it in the boot of the TR8. They don't deliver and we won't be taking the man servant along. I never got around to installing the new trim in there and it holds quite a bit with no spare tire.
So we will have to really protect the Jag since the boot interior is as new. Thinking lining it with cardboard and borrowing the rubber mat out of the Outback.

Tell me about it ! One has had to let the chauffeu, footman, and parlor maid go due the recession! One doesn't know how Jeeves and cook manage Couldn't let Jeeves go, been with the family for six generations don't you know.

If you have plastic sheeting rolls (typically used to protect floors when painting walls or ceilings) laying around in your garage, that stuff will wrap your firewood just as well as a tarp. Wrap up your firewood bundles, then run a couple of bungee cords around it and you're good to go....
