There is a benefit, by deleting the catalytic converter you allow the exhaust gases to exit the engine faster, proving for an increase in engine hoursepower.

You're ignoring the effect of the changed back pressure?

Also, the reduced power and hotter cylinders from ruining the EGR?

Do you design engines by any chance? More importantly, do you program them as you'll get codes...
