Default CATS Fault after HR Springs Install

Just picked up the STR after having new H&R Sport lowering springs installed. Although the car now sits perfectly, I have an annoying beep whilst driving and a warning about an error with the CATS. Any suggestions on what to do? I drove 2-3 miles to see if it would self-clear but it was too annoying to continue driving. Is my best bet disconnected the battery and resetting the cars memory or simply disconnected the CATS module? I would prefer to avoid the latter obviously as I want to keep the electronic damping. Thanks in advance.

Take it back as they've caused it.

+1 to JagV8's advice - they need to hook up your car to an appropriate dealer level scanner that is capable of reading/clearing "C"- chassis codes via the ADCM.

CATS code(s) will not clear/reset - even with a hard reset.

Resolved the issue myself with no mechanical knowledge as the garage I had the springs fitted at were a backstreet one who close early on Saturdays. I did some reading on this forum and the uk one and found that often when lowering springs are fitted to CATS equipped jaguars, mechanics unfamiliar with Jaguars (as the one I used was) don't connect the wires at the top of the shocks properly inside the engine bay. I had a look and the front right wire had been forced on which had bent the pins. I simply aligned them using a screwdriver, reconnected the wire and restarted the car. No error codes or warning beeps and the car drives perfectly now. The HR springs have done a great job at improving the look and handling of the jaguar with no adverse effect on ride quality. I'll upload pictures once I work out how. Thanks to those who replied and the forum which allowed me to fix my STR for free!

To clarify, the CATS module in the trunk is still connected so I have retained adaptive damping therefore the ride has not defaulted to full stiffness. To anyone who fits HR springs to their STRs and gets a CATS error: Check these wires first before unplugging your module and losing CATs

That's a first - CATS message disappearing after connecting the CATS shock. Usually this requires the code(s) to be cleared via ADCM. But glad things are working again.
