Default CATS Fault - LR shorted to positive code

Cats fault, code is left rear shorted to positive. Anyone seen this before? I have not gotten in to the wiring yet to see where short might be, thought I might check here first before I wasted time pulling something apart that was not relevant.

I have seen this on and XKR where the shock absorber spun in the bush and twisted the wires up. But I don’t think this is possible on an s type.
Checking the simple things yourself is no waste of time. Especially when you’re not paying shop rates to do the same simple check. And pull the carpet back and check the plugs and wires.
If the plugs and wires are not visually damaged.
I wonder if there is an Ohms Reading you could check across the shock absorber plug terminal.
I guess you could test both sides for resistance to see if they are the same or not.

Pins were loose in the connector, shoved them down in to the connector all the way and the code went away
