Changed the DCCV...Now the driver side is blowing cold while the pass is blowing hot?

I too didn't want to take chances sO i had him change mine out also. My mechanic disconnected the NEg battery terminal just in case while doing the DCCV swap out.
Jaguarcliamtecontrol rep also had told me that that he had previous clients claim that just disconnecting reconnecting the sensor plug on the DCCV shortens out the RCCM/CCM. So its best to disconnect one of the battery terminals as a precaution when changing the DCCV in the future.

Shiat! Thank God, I had cancelled my order from Rockauto few days back and got it from Amazon for $91 same part# of Motorcraft. Knock on wood I just got the DCCV installed today with the new supercharger pulley upgrade, thermostat and new Expansion tank, all working fine.

No I totally got what you said, its just that I had cancelled it from RockAuto because I needed it urgently and instead bought mine from Amazon in which I got it in 2 days. Maybe one of the batches from Rockauto was defected who knows....but Im glad its working fine now for you now...

Just got done changing my DCCV this weekend. A number of people have ref. www.jaguarclimantecontrol.com, With good reason they have a complete diagnostic sequence to follow. My DCCV did not short out it burned open on one side, I replaced it with the Ford/Motorcraft part yg-378, (three hose valve). What was interesting is the old DCCV had the same part number on it. Every thing is back together and working fine. However if your ccm or rccm is working fine you may want to get it modified for the over current protection before it does get blown some time in the future.
