Cheap fix for electric windows found
after much searching I managed to find a supplier who sells the plastic blocks that tend to break easily especially in hot weather. I was a bit sceptical as to whether the quaity would be ok or not. But I was nicely surprised when the parts arrived to find that they fitted perfectly. My biggest problem was getting the inside door panel off. I managed to fix the window mechnisn in 45 minutes and it works just like new strange that these sort of problems are so common in an expensive car.
