Check Engine Light On
Hello,
I have a 2000 Jaguar S-type with the 4.0 V8. Recently the check engine light came on. After running an OBD test on it, I got a P0141 code which states O2 Heater Circuit (Bank 1, Sensor 2). What does this mean, and what would generally cause this? How should I go about fixing it myself?

RE: Check Engine Light On
This means one of the Oxygen Sensors on one of the catalytic convertors is reporting a fault with its heater, they have heaters built in. You almost certainly need a new sensor. I think 'bank one, sensor two' means the rearward sensor on the left handside cat (each cat has two sensors).
