I think you should paint the lower ground effects black as well (below the doors, in between the tires).

Default I'm with Panthro !!!!!!

Bought my 2001 S-Type followed by my current 04 STR for the classic look.
Something to do with uniqueness and love of the Jaguar heritage.
IMHO the style doesn't lend itself to "over tricking".
I saw an S-type black/turquoise two-tone locally and almost
hurled (threw-up for you old folks) LOL!!!!

I had a similar desire to paint the sides of an Austin Healey 3000 2 tone, and did it out of boredom, I think. That is a car that is sometimes done 2 tone. I liked it for a couple of days. Then I didn't and it was like a tatoo - expensive to remove. I sold the car shotly thereafter. My advice is no.
